Helical Thin Joint Wall Tie
A one piece grade 304 stainless steel wall tie for rapid installation in new build cavity walls. They can be driven directly into Aircrete without pre-drilling and can be installed exactly where required which overcomes the problems of absent or misaligned mortar beds and the new 'thin joint' masonry systems. Require a 5-6mm pilot hole in all masonry of compressive strength greater than 3.5N/mm2.
Applications: Hammer-driven cavity wall tie, ideal for Aircrete blockwork and applications where the joints of inner and outer leaves of masonry do not course. Tieing a section of damaged wall Extending an existing solid or cavity wall.Benefits: Ideal for Aircrete blockwork. Can be installed through insulation. Flexibility accommodates structure movement. Can be used with or without insulation.
